We went the pumpkin patch - Bry-Anne farms and the girls had a great time. Lucy's reaction to the cow was so cute, Sadie cozying up to me on the hay ride was wonderful.

BUBBA!
Yesterday when Lucy was upset I asked her - "Where's your bubba (soother)? She responded "BUBBA" and started to look on the ground and then behind the blanket on the couch all the while calling for her bubba... very cute. Again later on at night while sitting on Jesse's lap - asked her again, started throwing things off the couch yelling Bubba, Bubba, Bubba!

The day that was
Today...
the day Sadie split her head open when the antique slide viewer fell on her head. Her cries of "I wish I didn't live this day" broke my heart. Brave, brave girl at the hospital, now sporting one stitch. While prepping & stitching, her eyes never left mine... until it hurt just that bit more and they were tightly shut. How I love that girl.
Update... thinking about God - how when we are hurting we often turn to him, and when the pain gets too hard to bear, we sometimes turn away but God's gaze never, ever leaves us and when we open our eyes again, we can see his loving gaze again.
